The relaunch of an audio legend
It’s been six years since the name was last seen, but with the increase in demand for high-resolution music, now is the time for the much-loved audio giant to announce its renaissance.
In December 2014 Technics will launch two series of products aimed at the high-end audiophile; the R1 ‘reference-class’ system and the C700 ‘premium-class’ system, which will bring to life the concept of ‘Technics Definitive Sound’, built on decades of know how.
We’ve been working with the development team in Japan to bring this idea to life in the European market, including the development of the overall Technics offering, which extends to include Technics Tracks, the world’s largest high resolution audio download platform launching in early 2015.
After a rigorous vetting process, Brave brokered a partnership for Technics with music download specialist 7 Digital, who will be responsible for delivering the platform in the UK and Germany initially, with the potential to roll out the service in additional markets globally. The service will provide an extensive catalogue of both high-resolution recordings as well as content to consumers as part of the Technics eCRM platform.
