Campaign Summary

To launch Panasonic’s range of award-winning Smart Viera televisions and leverage their Olympic Games partnership in the run up to 2012, we created a campaign that delivered not only product attributes but also symbolised their ongoing commitment to the pursuit of innovation and excellence.

Through a carefully choreographed balance beam gymnastic routine performed on top of their cutting edge television, we brought to life the multitude of features of Smart Viera televisions; elegance of design, IPTV connectivity and outstanding 2D and 3D performance with an accompanying voice over delivered by British actor of the moment Tom Hardy.

The entire concept was delivered seamlessly through-the-line via print, in store POS, online and once again straight to the consumers personal media devices with the incorporation of Aurasma technology.

Highlights and Results

  • The campaign delivered incremental sales uplift in the Viera TV range and increased consumer awareness of Panasonic’s long term Olympic association. Panasonic UK were naturally head over heels with the campaign!
